It’s fall with a number of Qlik releases! We are pleased to announce that Qlik has released new versions of Qlik Sense & NPrinting.. These new releases include a host of new features as well as numerous bug fixes, and you can find more information in the attached notes.
Natural Language Analytics– A new NLP (natural language processing) capability in the Qlik Cognitive Engine that supports natural language search and interaction in Qlik Sense. As users engage with Insight Advisor, they are now able to enter search criteria using full natural language. The Qlik Cognitive Engine parses the search string to understand the user’s intent and provide the right data and insights based on search criteria. Going forward, natural language interaction will be available in other areas of Qlik Sense as well.
Qlik N Printing – New features including:
Qlik Sense sheet as image
Select excluded values
Support for container objects
Our favorite new functionality
Include Qlik as an image
Users can now include a Qlik Sense sheet as an image in their Qlik NPrinting report. This makes report authoring much easier by reducing duplicate design effort in some cases where the report should look just like the sheet. This requires Qlik Sense February 2019 or later.
