Nprinting® / QlikView® Release Notes – May 2022 :
The last releases of Nprinting® and QlikView® were both dated May 2021. One year later, here we are with this release note, adding some features and bug fixes.

| Connections to QlikView® documents stored in QVF format are now supported. |
Enhancements |
| Updated the Qlik NPrinting® Repository (PostgreSQL) version from 10.17 to 13.6-1. |
| Added a user description field on the following APIs: create, update, and get user. |
| New X-Content-Type-Options security header with nosniff values. |
| Improved on-demand installation: improved the process of finding the installation path of QlikView® Server. |
Some defects solved |
| Visual bugs on borders – they were randomly added to merged cells |
| Error message – “Object reference not set to an instance of an object” when using a field with no value in a page. |
| Value replacement bugs in Excel – formulas with the “Expand Range” option were overwritten with the value 0. |

| New function for the analysis of key factors: The “MutualInfo()” function calculates the mutual information between two fields. |
| New option for container objects: It is now possible to hide the tabs in the container object. |
| The QVF format will now be the default format when creating a document.
Warning: no cross-compatibility between Qlik View® QVF and Qlik Sense QVF formats. |
| Update of the Qlik View® server to .NET 4.8 |
| The admin cache is now persistent, so that data is not lost when the Qlik View® management service is restarted. |
| No more possibility to alert by email for task failures on reload. |
| Log collection tool will allow access to QlikView Server and QlikView Distribution logs. |
| Tracking of task names and execution times for each task on documents created in a Loop and Reduce process. |

| This version fixes several bugs, you can check them here. |
Some fixes, but also improvements needed to keep Qlik NPrinting® and QlikView® compatible with other Qlik solutions.
