Monitoring the data extraction process

Many customers have made significant progress in utilizing their data and creating dashboards. They are creating more and more dashboards and are connecting an increasing amount of data sources, which is wonderful!

However, there is a downside to this progress. With the proliferation of data sources and applications using this data, how can we be certain that they always use the correct and up-to-date data? How can we ensure that no one is accessing outdated or unused data? It was not simple so far to answer these questions. This was a missing link in Qlik’s suite of monitoring applications.

We have updated an application that was circulating within the Qlik community and have taken it a step further to provide BI solution managers with a comprehensive overview of the data being used: when, where, how often, and by whom are data extractions being used. BI manager can detect duplicates, stop obsolete processes, streamline extractions, harmonize data usage, identify potential anomalies, and finally ensure that the right data always reaches the right people.

We are finalizing its development and beginning to install it where multiple applications are deployed.

Our expertise in action: focus on our customer projects

Here’s an overview of the latest customer projects we’ve worked on:
